Sintel will distribute Cybonet’s cyber protection suite in Turkey

According to data cited by the Daily Sabah news portal, around 90 million cyber-attacks were aimed at Turkey in 2016

The provider of cyber and information security solutions, Cybonet, has signed a distribution agreement with Sintel in Turkey. Following the agreement, Sintel adds Cybonet’s PineApp Mail Secure  security solution to its product line. Sintel operates throughout the Mediterranean basin and is an expert in the convergence of communications and in the optimization, management and security of networks. Richard Andreelli, General Manager for the Middle East and Africa at Sintel, said Sintel is constantly on the lookout for new products and services for its customers. “This partnership allows us to supply Cybonet’s complete range of cyber security solutions.”

“As an Israeli Cyber security company, we view Turkey as a geographically close market which holds interesting potential,” said Cybonet CEO David Feldman. “According to the data we compiled, the Turkish market imports around 97% of the hardware and software equipment for cyber security from other countries. It is a huge opportunity.”

Turkey faces significant cyber security challenges. According to data cited by the Daily Sabah news portal, around 90 million cyber-attacks were aimed at Turkey in 2016, and according to experts around 45% of the country’s computers are exposed to the attacks. Cybonet (formerly PineApp) provides comprehensive solutions for the securing of email messages, URL filtering, ongoing and full monitoring of networks and vulnerabilities tests. Its solutions are installed on more than 3,000 systems and serve close to 40,000 domains in more than 60 countries.
